GREEN MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES KIDS CAMPS 2010

Now in our 12th season, GMA offers a wide variety of carefully designed, challenging, safe, and supportive day adventure programs for young people between 6 and 15 years of age. Participants will engage in multi-activity Wilderness Adventures, including kayaking, mountain biking, geocaching, caving and rock climbing. All of our camps provide imaginative and unforgettable journeys into the backcountry in some of the most beautiful wilderness areas in and around the Green Mountains.
Come join us as we spend the entire summer outdoors. Student to guide ratio is 5:1

WILDERNESS CHALLENGE

5 Days of exciting adventure. Geocache using GPS to locate hidden treasures in and around the Green Mountains. Tour swimming holes and tube down the rivers of Addison County. Spend a day kayaking on Lake Champlain and rock climbing the Lake Dunmore Cliffs. Pack your energy bars and put on your helmet as we bike through some of the area’s best single track.

Camp 1: June 28th – July 2nd (Co-ed, Ages 9-12)
Camp 2: July 12th – 16th (Co-ed, Ages 12-15)
Cost $395

LADIES FIRST (Girls Only)

Girls Rule! Join us as we trek to the top of the highest peaks in the Adirondacks and Green Mountains. Next it’s into the water as we tube down beautiful mountain streams where we’ll explore local swimming holes. Test your skills as we rock climb on the cliffs above Lake Dunmore. Locate hidden treasures in and around the Green Mountains using GPS and spend a day paddling on one of the area’s scenic lakes.

Camp 3: July 26th - 30th (Ages 10-15)
Cost $395

ADVENTURE SQUAD

Little kids need to have fun too. This camp will offer younger campers a taste for the outdoors while offering an emphasis on safety and respect towards other. Kids will learn to paddle in canoes & kayaks on Lake Dunmore, treasure hunt using GPS units in the Green Mountains, rock climb on the Falls of Llana cliffs and spend a day team building, swimming and building sand castles.

Camp 4: AUGUST 9th - 13th (Co-ed, Ages 6-8)
Cost $395

For all camps, a $100 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.
Day camps run from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
