Now in our 10th season, GMA offers a wide variety of carefully designed, challenging, safe, and supportive day and overnight adventure programs for young people between 9 and 15 years of age.
Participants will engage in multi-activity Wilderness Adventures, including kayaking, fly fishing, mountain biking, geocaching, climbing, and adventure racing. All of our camps provide imaginative and unforgettable journeys into the backcountry in some of the most beautiful wilderness areas in and around the Green Mountains.
Come joins us as we spend the entire summer outdoors.

Kids Camps Photos
Starry Nights (overnight)
This Co-ed 5-day, 4-night camping excursion will take you deep into Vermont’s famous Northeast Kingdom. You will learn Leave No Trace camping skills as we embark on a different adventure each day. Activities include: kayaking on mountain lakes, hiking and mountain biking on the Kingdom Trails, fishing and tubing down beautiful mountain rivers. This camp has it all!
Camp 1: June 23rd – 27th (Co-ed, Ages 12-15)
Cost: $590
A $100 non refundable deposit is due at the time of registration

Wilderness Challenge
5 Days of exciting adventure. Geocache (use GPS) to locate hidden treasures in and around the Green Mountains. Tour swimming holes and tube down the rivers of Addison County. Spend a day kayaking on Lake Champlain and rock climbing the Lake Dunmore Cliffs. Pack your energy bars and put on your helmet as we bike through some of the area’s best single track.
Camp 2: July 7th – 11th (Co-ed, Ages 9-12)
Camp 3: July 21st – 25th (Co-ed, Ages 12-15)

Addison Eco challenge
Back by popular demand! This camp will include biking, hiking, paddling, orienteering, and team building. Learn basic map and compass skills and adventure race strategies. Campers will “race” between checkpoints and be encouraged to work as a team to complete their mission. The eco challenge will be a workout for the mind as well as the body.
Camp 4: August 4th-8th (Co-ed, Ages 9-13)
Cost $375

Ladies First (Girls Only)
Girls Rule! Join us as we trek to the top of the highest peaks in the Adirondacks and Green Mountains. Next it’s into the water as we tube down beautiful mountain streams where we’ll stop for a break at one of the many great swimming holes for a refreshing dip. Test your skills as we rock climb on the cliffs above Lake Dunmore. Locate hidden treasures in and around the Green Mountains using GPS. We’ll end this camp with a day of paddling on one of our areas most scenic lakes.
Camp 5: August 18th – 22nd (Ages 10-14)

All Camps are coed except for Camp 5. All day camps run from 9:00am — 4:00pm. Overnight camps run from 9:00am
on the first day to 4:00pm on the last day.
