Spent yesterday evening on the NH. Several fish were rising a;long the stretch I fished. Even with the Tea colored water I'll call it the middle section of the river. Eventually a strong little green stonefly hatch started. Bring even more fish to the surface. I stood back from several pools and watched before I stepped in. Even if the water is off color, being sneaky helps. It allowed me to see the feeding lanes for both dries and nymphs better. Caught 2 nice rainbows bigger then 16" on our Rubber Leg Golden Stone Nymphs #8. This is a great time to be using a Dry Dropper rig. We have several foam flies and some large stimmys(which are great for adult Goldens) that are boyant.
